This wonderful Japanese cleaver knife has a blade made of Japanese VG-1 carbon steel (semi0stainless). This single-sided sharpened knife is completely hand-forged by Miki Hamono's forge and is unique in its kind. A Deba is the typical Japanese cleaver knife, because of its shape and weight, this knife is extremely suitable for preparing fish (for removing heads, bones and gills), but also for poultry or vegetables with a hard skin or hard core.
