Japanese Takewari Nata, pruning knife, SK-5 steel
Nata (pruning knife) for pruning branches and leaves of Tosa Engei. Razor-sharp blade of Japanese SK-5 carbon steel clamped in non-rust-resistant steel. This knife can also be used to cleave small trunks, use a wooden hammer (never a metal hammer) for this and use an underlying (larger) chopping block to prevent the knife from shooting on a hard surface.
This knife is sharpened on both sides.
This knife is supplied with a wooden scabbard with artificial leather cover and belt loop. Ideal for gardeners and gardeners and also suitable for woodworking and furniture makers.
