This handmade handle of Japanese Honoki wood (Magnolia Hypoleucaea / Magnolia Obovata) is equipped with a buffalo horn bolster. These handles are especially for Yanagiba / Takohiki knives, because of the long slender shape they fit very well with the profile of a Yanagiba or Takohiki but also very well with long knives such as Sujihiki or long Kiritsuke's.

These handles can also be provided with a beautiful laser engraving. You can have your own name or message engraved (in Western characters but also in Traditional Japanese characters!). We can also engrave a handwritten name or signature.

Glued handles cannot be removed in this way, these handles must first be shattered with a chisel.
