Konosuke HD-2 Petty, Honoki octagonal handle,
Double-sided sharpened blade with a core of semi-stainless Japanese HD-2 steel (comparable in hardness to Shirogami # 2 steel). The blade is sturdy and manually sharpened and has no thickening, which makes sharpening very easy. The handle is traditionally octagonal and is suitable for both left and right handed use. The handle is made of Japanese Honoki wood and fitted with a black buffalo horn bolster.
