Laser engravement on steel bolster/head
We can provide the steel crop of your precious knife with your own initials. A laser engravement makes it a real personalized item. Regular surface engravings by weak laser etching leaves a very superficial and quickly wearing image. We use a professional engraving technique with a fiber laser that jewelers also use. We use professional computer-controlled equipment with the latest software. A fiber laser engraving is a permanent engraving without an overly noticeable appearance.
Beware that we cannot engrave on wood or horn.
What do you need to provide?
- The text/image to be engraved,
- font style,
- format
- placement on the blade
This information must be supplied by e-mail with the order number.
If you only specify the text to be engraved without additions in the comment section of the webshop order
then we will determine the font, size and placement on the knife ourselves.
- If you want to leave the engraving to the new owner of the knife, you can also have us make a voucher that we add to the knife. The engraving can then be applied at a later time.
- In addition, you can in principle choose from all fonts that are standard in MS Word or Google fonts.
- If you have specific requirements, you can indicate this with your order and we will contact you as soon as possible.
- we can also convert your name to Japanese Kanji characters. We have a special Kanji generator for this. An example of this is shown in the photos.
- Placing a logo or picture is also possible
