Konosuke HD-2 Petty, Honoki octagon handle,
Double-sided sharpened blade with a core of semi-stainless Japanese HD-2 steel (hardness comparable to Shirogami #2 steel). The blade is sturdy and manually sharpened and has no thickenings, making sharpening very easy. The handle is traditionally octagonal and is suitable for both left and right-handed use. The handle is made of Japanese Honoki wood and has a black buffalo horn bolster.
