Shimomura Teruhide Deba

These Japanese-made knives from Shimomura have a very good price/quality ratio. The blade of this knife is made of rust-resistant Japanese High-Carbon 'Hitachi Yasuki Forged' steel and has a traditional Japanese handle of untreated Honoki wood. This deba blade is suitable for preparing fish and meat. Due to its thickness, the knife is very suitable for filleting fresh (whole) fish or deboning and dividing whole chicken. The blade is single-sided sharpened.
